Is it a ghost?

I was at the Hookah Bar on Frenchman last night and took this picture.
There’s no source of smoke or steam coming from behind the bar. I have no other explanation. What do you think?

    love photos like these… any chance you can check up on the history of the place? new orleans is rich with hauntings.

    Well, as much I would like to indulge…you were at a HOOKAH bar where people blow lots and lots of smoke in the air and it floats around the bar until the air system ventilates it. I think the locale where you saw the smoke kind of diminishes its supernatural aura.

    I’m going to find out a little bit more about the history of that corner. Aaron, I’d be with you on this one, if only it wasn’t behind the bar. If you know the Hookah Bar on Frenchman, there isn’t a hookah within at least 20 feet of the bar. If you’re a local, you will undoubtingly be on Frenchman soon. Stop in (the service is getting a little better) and check out the space. It’s right after where you come in.
