A story has been neglected
In the previous post the midnight ferret makes a request of us N.O. Metbloggers, which I thought I would throw out to my more qualified brethren. Asked the ferret:
I have been waiting for y’all to post info on something very near and dear to me. For *days* I have been seeing ads for the return of a certain local TeeVee favorite. I’ve been waiting for you guys to tell me something more about it, but to no avail. Ok, maybe all of y’all are too cool to watch TeeVee. Or could it be that *none* of you are natives? In any case, make with the goods! Erm, please.
I, for one, am not too cool for TV. Life’s exciting in this town, but I always find time for the Hester Report and other quality local programming. Not sure who the ferret could possibly be referring to, but I hope it’s someone magnificent.
Can anyone provide a little help here?

I’m not too cool for tv but am at a loss on this one.
MORGUS!!!!!!!!!!!
I, for one, am thrilled. It’s going to be all new episodes, 30 minutes long with no movies being shown. All Morgus, Chopsley, and Eric.
Friday at 10:30 I think? Then reruns on Sunday and if you’ve got cable On-Demand you can watch it all week.
I’ve been waiting for the DVD for ages now but this is even better.
Word is he’s coming back, but it is in negotiations, which also happened a few years ago and fell apart, so all we can do is cross our fingers. But what will it be like without Chopsley? Didn’t he die in an auto accident some years ago?
This is past the negotiation stages. It begins airing next Friday, so the episodes have surely been shot already and they are airing commercials on cable showing Morgus.
I don’t know about Chopsley but he wears that thing over his head so it wouldn’t matter if he was the original one or not.
Go see the special man!

yay! I am so excited. I realize it’s a kid’s show, because I was a kid when I watched it! But how nice to know Morgus is coming back! I, too, have been waiting for the DVD. I wonder how it’s oging to be without the movies, though?
