Tourists: Please Don’t Sleep on Our Sidewalks

To the friends of the gentlemen who decided to take a nap on the street:

Do you usually sleep on the street where you come from? You must come from a clean city! New Orleans is certainly dirtier. (It is in the “Dirty South“!) I’ve seen plenty of people sleeping on the street being homeless or the classic tourist passed-out on Bourbon at 5am. Your friend who was considerably dressed up at 2:30pm outside the Orpheum came as a shock. Could you not get in to see the BET Comic View?

My suggestion, after you enjoy Essence Fest, of course, is to continue your vacation in Atlanta at CDC Headquarters. They’ll help your friend with that disease he picked up that no one has heard of.

    On the one hand, you feel bad for Mr. Horizontal there. On the other, you wonder why this business hasn’t kicked him off the front door by this time of day.
