What’s open??

Ive seen where several posts mention this or that place opening and I found myself going back through posts trying to gather a list of places before I head back into town next weekend. After some frustration and cursing, I had the idea to post this so people can see a sort of listing in the comments.

Here are some guidelines (well, more like suggestions):

*Post the full name as well as any nicknames of places.
*Post the address, or roughly where it is enough so people can get to it.
*What kind of place it is: Restaurants, hardware stores, pharmacies, and grocery stores are likely of most interest.
*What does the place have and not have? For example, if a hardware store is out of cleaning products completely and dont expect any for weeks, then that is probably worth mentioning.

**Lets try to keep this first-hand. If you havent actually been there since it reopened then I would suggest stating that you heard the place is open and see if someone else can confirm for you.

**By that same token, feel free to post a planned reopening date (and then confirm it after you go).

My thinking here has many foils: it should be a good resource for people returning to New Orleans, it should encourage people who are in town or returning to go to these places, and lastly, it should be a way to sort of document the revitalization of the citys business infrastructure.
