    Monday morning, I was going down Magazine near the A&P and some driver had obviously come around a corner way too fast and T-boned the car into one of the many large dumpsters on the curb. You gotta wonder how this would happen in a neighborhood where the speed limit averages about, oh, 20.

    We are indeed whacked, even in the “good” areas.

    I guess we now see what they meant by the Crescent City. The old parts of the city that were originally inhabited are the same places that survived.
