Kentucky Fried Chocolate

I’ve had it with the nation taking out its self-righteous frustration about Nagin’s comments on New Orleans and its economy. Talk about blowing something out of proportion. If you want something else to be offended about, here have at it: It seems that Kentucky Fried Chicken has adopted Sweet Home Alabama as its latest jingle. Go boycott KFC or something. I dare you.

DO NOT PUNISH A CITY AND ITS PEOPLE BECAUSE OF THE WORDS OF ITS MAYOR.

Then quit punishing the nation with your damnably worthless New Orleans “news” and your incessant Katrina whining. STFU.

Wait a whole damnably worthless second, AW. You chose to come to this New Orleans site and choose to read or watch New Orleans-related news and say we’re punishing you? You’re an adult now - don’t click on these sites, change the channel, turn the page.

Like this. (I believe Elvis is alive and well in Scotland.) I’m thinking about trying out this scrumptious recipe in March some time. Would you like me to let you know how it turns out?

    Dear AW,

Thank you for proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that the dumbest people in the United States are not necessarily from New Orleans. It gives me hope that if someone of your obvious intellect can type and post on this blog then we can train anyone to at least do something.

its not blowing it out of proportion what the mayor said was wrong and if it was a white mayor and he said an all vanila city the man would have the NAACP,Black Culkus Leaders and others down his throat and calling for his job….

Again this is another view on how the double standard is for the DEMOCRATS who get away with racist comments and its just WRONG. And if you cant see that they you also must be racist or a democrat!

FYI: Nagin was a Republican until about a week before the election. He’s not really a Democrat, and even if he was, that’s a specious argument. That’s like saying all Republicans are racist becuase Trent Lott is. Or, all Republicans are theiving liars becasue Jack Abramoff is, or all people who use monikers such as Big Dick Daddy aren’t well endowed because its obviously a fruedian manisfestation of feelings of physical and sexual inadequecy.

That’s lazy, and sloppy, reasoning. :-)

What’s a Culkus? Is that like a Bupkus? I think you meant Black Caucus Leaders, BDD.

The mayor’s response to a largely black gathering was indeed in response to the threat of an all-vanilla city planned by white people. Not an unfounded fear if you listen to statements that are made Uptown and in Metairie.

As for the rest, I defer to Ann’s comment.

The two party system is broken and has to be brought to the back of the barn to get shot.

    Vote for individuals!

Parties are cliques plain an’ simple.

    Laurie
