There’s nothing on Loyola’s web site about this.

    Hey Dangerblonde,
Did you or anybody else make it out to the Mayoral Forum? If so, what were your impressions?

I didn’t make it, I’ve got one more exam on Wed. I read in the Picayune today, though, that they basically agreed on everything (1,600 cops, pay raise for cops and prosecutors) but Landrieu said he would do a national search for a new Chief and Sugar Ray said he would keep Riley.

To tell you the truth, I have made up my mind I am voting for Mitch Landrieu. I think Nagin and all of our current city “leaders” disgraced themselves. The more I read about the mayor and how he handled his job BEFORE the hurricane, the more ineffectual I believe he has been. I am not one of those New Orleanians who are shitting themselves with happiness just because we have a mayor who is not stealing everything that’s not nailed to the floor.
