Chris Rose, columnist for the Times Picayune, was on NPR this morning reading a piece that he wrote. He explains his feelings about the current situation in New Orleans as hurricane season begins today. It is an interesting take.

The Times-Picayune window changed 3 days ago.
You would think with hurricane season here
they would letting more people through instead
they’re sweeping us under the carpet.

That is weird that it hasn’t effected me on my computer.
What’s also new is they added the “outside the U.S.” thing
I believe it’s the culprit.

Once you get past giving them the zipcode, year of birth, F/M, mother’s maiden name and color of underwear and you don’t get anywhere, You’re Alread In. So just go back to the nola.com front page and click on the article you want and it will let you in.
Also, try switching to Firefox from Internet Exploder.
