Panoramic View of Lakeview

Most of us living here see this kind of scene on a daily basis, so if you’re like me it might not be all that striking at first. But seeing as how many readers are not actually here, I guess this 360 degree panoramic view of a street in Lakeview might have a greater impact on some of you. The Photo was taken by Alfonso Bresciani, who lives in St. Rose. Here is a short article that accompanies the picture.
This neighborhood was a thriving neighborhood full of young families before it was flooded by the levee breeches. Its a sad thing, but driving though neighborhoods like these everyday, I am begining to forget that scenes like this are not the norm in any other American City.
