Debris Removed
The mattresses here at Iberville and Tonti were removed this week and today the army corps guys have the Bobcat out there and are getting all this nasty household trash up and out. I wonder if this street dumping will ever stop, I think we may have created a monster.

Lucky you. I noticed that some of my contractor bags full of debris had been removed, but not all of them, which was curious. Then I discovered that they had actually been taken about 10 feet down the street and dumped out on another trash pile. There seem to be a lot of people scavenging through debris piles in my neighborhood, looking for things that might be of value. So much for trying to be neat and putting things in bags.
This is the problem that will not die. My hood was high and dry and there are stacks of crap everywhere. There’s a lot of opportunistic dumping going on right now.
