A man of two minds

In the wake of today’s flooding, part of me wants to express sympathy for the citizens of Washington, DC. I mean, apart from the politicians, they’re not a terribly well-to-do bunch, and the clean-up will be difficult.

Another part of me wants to call up FEMA headquarters and scream, “How’s it feel NOW, bitch? Oh, you’re wet? Oh, your building’s flooded? Oh, your life’s work is ruined? Well, sugar, you just sit tight–I’m sure someone from the Federal Emergency Management Agency is gonna be right there to make things all better….”

I felt that way when Houston flooded.

A family member lives there and the crap we had to listen

to-makes ‘ya wanna’ strangle some one!

    Now…

Let the water sit there for two weeks and steep for a bit. Just like an old tea bag left in a skankified pitcher of water left on some windowsill. With mold and all kinds of scuz growing on top of it. And then abandoned for another two months to leech itself up the walls and curtains so it kinda attaches itself to the wall and the soffit and the eave and the window sash.

Now go back and stick your nose in all this crap and inhale deeply. Then live with it for another four months.

    Getting an idea now?

    Dicks.

Perhaps we should consider not rebuilding Houston and DC.

    Sorry can’t help myself.

I agree with Skeeter. Lets stop all rebuilding everywhere. Then we can all move into a cave and enjoy each other’s company in a more confined, close-knit enviroment.

I’ll never understand, for the life of me, why those people choose to live there…

How do we feel about the witches melting in Salem , Massachusettes

    last night-I don’t like it!

They did not cause the flood.

Before they start burning matches let’s stop ‘em from building fires.

    It’s Litha.

Time is growing shorter there are only 16 hours in a day

that’s why the day seems shorter.

It’s why our forefathers kept messing with the minutes

of the clock to try and give us back lost time.

Every one laughed at me when I said the summer soltice was

the shortest day of the year, the floods really began after the soltice.

Litha is the goddess of destruction and creation her main means is Water!

As the days get shorter and shorter how is

the rivers flow supposed to catch up?

After all, we are watching the earth evolve!

How does the discovery of the tenth planet mess us all up?
