Friday Funhouse Vol. 1, No. 3
The grab bag is purely pictorial this week.
1. Considerate Graffiti at Two Carrollton Walgreens Locations
See Editor B’s Flickr Gallery for more.
2. Portraits of New Orleanians
I highly encourage you Flickrheads to join this pool. Submit pictures or simply spend time admiring the variety, beauty and goofiness of our people. This is a favorite:
3. Wendy Mukluk of Madison, WI spent a week here in April, volunteering at the Emergency Communities Made With Love Cafe and Grill in Arabi. A photographer, Wendy spent time in some of our destroyed areas and has some hauntingly beautiful and sad pictures from her experience.

The things people went through here, how awful and inspiring. The story of Misty makes me wonder over and over, “That happened here?” Unbelievable, but so true.
Thanks, Evacuee, for sharing these pictures with us.
hi
thanks for posting my link. i am flattered.
i want to try to publish my pictures and raise awareness here in the midwest, and the rest of the country. people elsewhere don’t realize the extent of the devastation on the gulf coast. i didn’t until i got there.
this spring was my first visit to new orleans since 1975, and my mental images from all my old happy memories were shattered.
