Evolving Program

Even with the first of another round of hurricanes advancing towards the Gulf, our politicians cannot seem to think of anyone but themselves. Case in point: The Invisible Man, HRH Our Mayor. Unfortunately, at the odd flash appearance, he says things that make you wish he’d stayed indoors.

Nagin last week suggested he did not have any problem with the original program. “As far as the criticism of whether this is too celebratory, I guess I’m becoming a little immune to criticism these days,” he said last week. “As far as fireworks is concerned, that’s not my push. I’m just going with the flow on that one.” But on Wednesday Nagin said the activities were part of an “evolving” program.

Earth to Ray: It ain’t about you. It’s about New Orleans.

Wish I were a dog. I’d find him, piss on him and then bite him.

JB – I’d save my choppers for something more tastie!

would it have been so very hard to just say, “Hey folks, I made a mistake..I’m sorry”

I just don’t get it. It seems so simple to me.

I’m so disenfranchised with that guy now that even if he was to somehow shit the answer to all our woes I wouldn’t trust it. I’m just sick of him. I have no use for him at all.

At the same time, I’m starting to suspect this plan for a plan for a plan deal he’s come up with to include everyone’s input is just a misdirection to keep us all busy and saited that we won’t be paying as much attention to what the city is doing. That may be paranoid though so I don’t give it too much credibility even in my own mind.
