New Orleans Review

In case you missed it, Salon.com published a beautiful piece about the current issue of New Orleans Review. I haven’t read the issue yet, but if Ed Skoog’s “Season Finale” is any indication of its quality, you’re all getting copies for Christmas.

I think Ed will be in town in November, something going on at Faulkner House.

Last I heard, they still had their house Uptown, so I’m hoping that one day they’ll come back for good. At the very least, though, we get to see ‘em for Krewe du Vieux…

You can purchase copies of the Review at http://www.loyno.edu/~noreview/shop.htm

The specific issue referenced in the Salon article is not the latest volume, but the one that came out in earlier in the summer, I think 31:2.

You can probably pick it up at the likely spots: Maple Street and Beaucoup. And that place in The Rink, a block from Commander’s–Deville, maybe?
