House of Shock, Brah

I went to go visit the House of Shock Brah last week on Friday the 13th. What an adventure! I think we pulled up at about 9 pm and there had to be at least 2000 people hagning out in the parking lot of the warehouse area.
We waited in line for at least an hour if not more, but the wait was pretty fun seeing as everyone was all excited for the haunted house. The diversity of the people queuing up was pretty enjoyable - the crowd ran the gamut from teeny-boppers to families with kids, and just about every parish and neighborhood seemed to be represented (judging from the accents heard, anyway).
As you weave your way deeper to the front door, there are screens set up with horror movies projected onto them in a loop that consists of some of the greatest blood fests known to cinema. Once at the front of the line, we were fortuitous enough to witness Satan onstage, introducing us to the House of Shock with some great pyrotechnics that were so colossal the heat actually made us sweat a little bit.
Once inside the House of Shock I didn’t stop screaming for the entire duration. There was something scarier than before to greet you around every corner. I highly recommend to anyone, whether they like scariness or not, to go to the House of Shock. If you tend to be a bit wussier than others, be sure to take a date that you want a good excuse to grab hold of and not let go for a while.
