I noticed a brief item about this very thing in the paper last week. Since we live right adjacent to this area, I'm interested in what the plans might be for what is now the abandoned site of two old (and burned) warehouses. The paper also mentioned the city has already received a good amount of EPA money to clean up any old creosote remaining in the area.

Unfortunately. we will likely be on the road so any input we have will be outside this meeting. Thanks for the heads-up.

I think it will be interesting to see what the plans are and, as a friend of mine pointed out, it is usually the denizens that are opposed to change in this city that show up to these things, so it would be neat to have some progress-minded folks in attendance if architecture is your bag.

The old progress-vs-obstructionism canard. Does this friend of yours happen to be a developer? Buried under a lot of this "progress" is a lot of bad planning, waste and graft, which is why a lot of people show up.

If you can't be troubled to attend these meetings you really shouldn't complain about the people who actually do.
