doctors at drugstores

Here is a story from today’s New York Times about receiving care from a nurse or doctor at a drugstore where your prescription can also be filled. The concept in interesting and is clearly only a band-aid to the problems with healthcare in this country right now, but I wonder if something like this would work here for the time being?
