So I can agree with you in that respect....But to be honest, Bourbon is a vile tourist-trap. A better bar: try the Bulldog on Magazine or Tipitina's. A better street? Frenchman's for certain, or Royal if only for the antiques. In the global scope of things and for an idea of what Bourbon SHOULD be: try Rose Street in Edinburgh. Lots of bars AND history!
