The every afternoon summer shower was such a typical weather pattern for most of my "payin' attention" years here, but it seems to have given way lately to a new pattern of mini-droughts and mini-floods. I walked the seven blocks from my office to my car in that torrent last night. Loved every step. I’m probably one of those smoke-averse health nuts who would wave to you from across the street while you smoke, but I love and miss those evenings.
