I saw this article online somewhere, simply because I’ve been visiting nola.com a lot keeping on eye on this Bastard Strom that is out there.

When I began reading it, honestly, I had to look at the date. I was shocked to find out that three years later there were still people being laid to rest. I thought I was maybe reading an article from 2 1/2 years ago.

Very sad indeed. But I’m glad they finally have a peaceful resting place.

On a different note, I have to say, everything looks much more organized this time around. Seems things are going to go much smoother with evacs and such. I would hope it would help out in the long run to potentially avoid another situation like that.

I wish I didn’t have to, but I’m praying for all of you in and around NOLA. Be safe.

I do not think it is the right way to go to not have a "shelter of last resort" in the city. What are the people who we all know are going to stay behind going to do?

For people that get stuck behind they’ll have no where to run with all the forced closings.

Even the church is locking its doors.
