I have to admit that when the rumors were going around that da Mayor was going to bring Blakely in to be the czar, the radio station supported it 100%.

We were wrong. Guy was a total failure. No one wanted someone else to do the work for us, we just wanted someone to lead the way and while I thought he could do what the Mayor would not do, Blakely was shown to just be a self-promoting fool. He certainly fit in with New Orleans in one way though....he did like his alcohol, too bad he liked it starting at noon. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
