I think the latter story would be best taught in Home Ec.

I’m currently in Charlotte, thinking that things around NOLA might have changed on some level without me. I felt my tension float away as I read that second story. Thank you, Arabi. Thank you.

NOLA generates *all* the good news these days. Marie Laveau? Teen-pimped prostitution? “Tulane spanks ECU,” to quote a local headline. Why is it that all-y’all ain’t just posting up a storm.

Come back to the five-and-dime, Jimmie Dean, Jimmie Dean.

You gotta feel for those hopeless folks in Tangipahoa — they’re willing to go to all kinds of extremes to make up for producing Britney Spears.

Britney returns the favor by marrying some loser from Fresno. Match made in heaven.

So what about that second, allegedly unrelated, prostitution scandal in da parish? A man and his son is caught pimping the girlfriend for BJs to some guy down the street in the trailer park. Only in da parish!!

    A link! I’m not finding it on nola.com —

It is of course the New Orleans that seems so … beside the point. What are the police upset about? Blowjobs in the parish? Money for sex? Something they aren’t getting kickbacks for if it were done in the Quarter?

    In-a-aquaring-mines wannah know!
